Calling for help in an emergency should be the easy step. These are the commitments behind the number on this site, and the limits of them, stated in the same breath.
Answered every hour of every day
Any hour, any day: the line is answered. A burst pipe at 2am is the ordinary case for this trade, not the exception.
Free to you, start to finish
Using this service costs you nothing. No charge to call, none to be connected, and none for whatever quotes you collect. Only the work you hire is paid for, and you pay the contractor directly.
Local, and licensed for the work
The connection goes to a licensed, insured independent contractor working in the Stamford area rather than to a call centre two states away. Confirm the license and the insurance yourself before anyone starts — it is your right and your responsibility.
One call fixes a bad match
A contractor who misses the appointment or rubs you the wrong way is a reason to call back, not to give up. Ask for a different one; it costs nothing and nobody will argue.
What is not being guaranteed here
This service does not stand behind the work, and it would be dishonest to suggest otherwise. The contractors are independent businesses; the quality of the job, and any guarantee on it, come from the contractor you hire.
